Postcard Map
January 2026 First Friday
Dear Art Lovers,
Happy New Year! Here is my postcard map, sent to your (email, but pretend actual) mailbox. There are only a few openings this week— it’s rare to have the shows fit in such a small space. I took advantage of the compactness and let myself bite off just as much as I could chew. I am thinking of ways we stay in touch, physical and digital, in the blue-cold months of winter.
I also have a request in response: if you know of an art show happening a few weeks (or even days) in advance, would you be willing to send me a message with the details? I scavenge social media and newsletters to find out about shows, but it makes me so sad when I miss something altogether or am 3/4 of the way through a map when I learn of one just outside the scope I thought was wide enough. I will start inserting this button at the bottom of each newsletter from now on for your convenience. Thank you in advance for your help!
